Westward The Light are: Charlie Grey, Sally Simpson, Owen Sinclair and Joseph Peach. The band formed as a result of years of collaboration in a range of settings.
Westward The Light a vessel that brings together an expansive knowledge of Scottish folk music and culture, creating a new expression of an age-old sound. On fiddle, viola, vocals, piano, and guitar, the quartet's music is reflective of upbringings immersed in the nature and landscapes of Scotland.
Since their 2018 debut, the bands music has had a very positive reception, with a number of sold out shows including at 2019's Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Now heading into their third year, the band will launch their debut self-titled album in March 2020.
